Dr. Fernando Porras is a General Practitioner dedicated to root-cause, patient-centered care. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidad de Ciencias Médicas (UCIMED) in Costa Rica and spent five years in primary care and preventive medicine, treating acute and chronic conditions across diverse patient populations.
Seeking to address the underlying drivers of chronic disease, he completed advanced training through the Kresser Institute’s ADAPT Practitioner Training Program and became a certified ReCODE 2.0 Practitioner through Apollo Health, with a focus on cognitive health and chronic disease management.
